Tracking a Solar Storm Challenge – February through April 2013
K-12 classrooms are invited to participate in the online challenge activity supporting the IRIS mission. Through the challenge, students will learn about the Sun, the space weather it creates, and the impact solar activity has on Earth. Students will then demonstrate their knowledge in the form of a space weather report. Participation is free, and teachers may register their classes at any time during the three-month period.
